Beached – A Sculpture By the Sea Shipwreck…

It’s very interesting to see what sculptures turn up as part of Sculpture By the Sea each year – this Shipwreck for instance plonked onto the beach. Sculpture… I’m not sure… it does make for interesting photographic fodder however – now if only we could get rid of all the other distracting things around 🙂
I’d originally intended to HDR this thinking the contrast would be too high to capture in a single frame – I shot three bracketed images at 0, -2 and +2EV in preparation. However in post I discovered that the 0EV RAW was not clipped at either end and the dynamic range was covered so I was able to just process the single frame – I love my D600! 🙂
