Unmasked…

by on Jun.22, 2015, under Life, Photography

Another unpublished panorama brings us to Day 7 of The Week of Panospheres.

I took the original panorama during Vivid Sydney this year and whilst the pano is reasonably ok I think this panosphere version is much more interesting :).

Back to Kangaroo Island and to West Bay for Day 6 of my Week of Panospheres and the torture is almost over…

This one taken up on the ridge overlooking West Bay and you feel like you’re at the epicentre of the world looking in.

Bowing Down…

A trip to Circular Quay after the Dawn Service on Anzac Day this year brings us to Day 5 of Week of Panospheres.

A lovely day to be out and these timely pink fluffy clouds were amazing as was this view from up on the Cahill Expressway looking out to the harbour.

I’m particularly happy with how this tiny planet version came out – sometimes you just don’t know how these will work out… Sometimes a little serendipity lends a hand and I’m bowing down to the photographic gods…

Wilson’s Psychosis…

by on Jun.19, 2015, under Life, Photography

This little number is from a sneaky Sunday adventure up to Mount Wilson in the Blue Mountains to shoot Autumn (or fall) colour. I was particularly impressed with the bizarre nature of the resulting psychosis which has resulted from the panosphere convolutions with this one.

In the end I decided to leave the freaky splayed lines which result in the corners, almost like some ball of craziness is bursting through time and space. Perhaps the psychosis is just in MY mind… 🙂

… and if you look very closely and play “Where’s Gerry” you might even find Gerard Blacklock in there…

Through the Rift…

by on Jun.18, 2015, under Photography

Day 3 of my week of panospheres and I’ve never actually published the original panorama from which this was created. I actually took the original it as an exercise for my Arcanum cohort and we used it during a hangout but I never published the end result. So here is the twisted and distorted version coming out of a rift in space for your pleasure…
