Sacred Grasses…

by on Sep.26, 2016, under Life, Photography

Even a fully overcast day couldn’t prevent us from exploring this wondrous island. The perimeter was varied rocky coastline but the interior was covered in tall grasses and exposed standing stones. These wind worn rocks varied from the small to the massive. Some of the largest in the centre of the island with one particularly large one serving as the base for the lighthouse itself.

We did recce the eastern coast of the island for a sunset shoot. However with such heavily overcast skies it really never eventuated, we just slowly drifted to darkness with a little drizzling rain.
