Dawn at Cape Leveque

by on Sep.16, 2019, under Life, Photography

My cabin was on the eastern side of Cape Leveque (so I’d see the sunrise)

I hadn’t done many (any?) early morning shoots on the trip so far so I got up before sunrise to walk across to the cliffs to shoot

Pointing at Dawn

NIKON Z 7 + NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S @ 14 mm, 30 sec at f/8, ISO 64

Note: These photographs (especially the wider shots) look much better when larger. To see larger versions in an inline overlay slideshow gallery viewer click any of the images.

The cliffs aren’t a solid red on the eastern side, like they are on the western side of the peninsula. They are still quite pretty, especially in the early light of dawn
