Floral Motion

NIKON Z 7 + NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S @ 14 mm, 587 sec at f/8, ISO 100

From one end of the time spectrum to the other. This was the first shot of our evening session at some nearby tunnels I’d found recently. Where Gerry joined me for an evening of light painting fun

I really like Gerry’s pixelstick “flowers” as he called them. On the left and right of this frame. I think I like these more floral whispy versions even more than the striped rainbow ones he does. Check his feed or wait for my shots to be posted soon :). Blue EL wire goodness on the ground also courtesy of Gerry

My contribution to the cause (which actually took up most of the time for the exposure) is the plasma orb in the middle. I think I’m even starting to get pretty competent at these. Especially the squared outside lines (which is tricky to do when you can’t actually see them, nor where the lines are/have been)

Note: These photographs (especially the wider shots) look much better when larger. To see larger versions in an inline overlay slideshow gallery viewer click any of the images.
