A sneak peek of Vivid Sydney 2023
I’ve been fortunate enough to have been shooting pre-release scenes at Vivid Sydney again this year
The late Australian artist John Olsen’s vibrant paintings of life and energy within the natural world will illuminate the Sydney Opera House’s sails from this Friday the 26th of May
The looping fast paced animated video sequence moves through ten distinct artworks over about ten minutes
The keen eyed amongst you may notice the unusual exposure settings for this capture. A 20 second long exposure at a very nice base ISO of 64 and a more closed down aperture of f/8
Alas one of the perks of being able to have the projection paused for a minute at a time at particular interesting frames allowing the shooting of nice clean static images 🙂
