We flew to Milos – the first of the Greek Islands we were visiting. I’d arranged to stay a night in this magic little colourful fishing village. We were going to stay in one of the colourful boathouses (syrmata) and have dinner outdoors on the waters edge at the nearby restaurant just down along the waters edge from us
With amazing views of sunset over the waters of Milos Bay this traditional fishing village on the island of Milos is known for its iconic pop-of-colour houses – called syrmata – that line the hillside. Apparently the village has been a popular home for locals since around 7000 BC
Watching the sunset and listening to the waters lap literally at your door is so serene and relaxing. This place is beautiful and well worth the visit and a stay if you can
